A few random observations since the last post.....
I think we are getting close to the first ever professional team (Indianapolis Colts)to just forfeit a game like you would in elementary if a few of your players got sick.
I think Mister Alexander's (Texans LB) parent's have won the award for the most unique, yet least creative name ever.
Speaking of the Texans, there seems to be a lot of calm for a team that just lost it's starting QB. Schaub wasn't setting the league on fire but passing the torch to a gentlemen who was viewed as a bust and who passed on 2 opportunities to be a starter THIS year sounds like a recipe for a questionable finish over the last 6 games.
I had the opportunity to watch the free UFC fight that lasted less than 2 minutes as well as the 12 round title fight in boxing in the same night. I just can't wrap my arms around 2 130lb men punching each other with zero ability to knock the other one down and that being scored....only to have the usual outrage at the decision. Give me 5 rounds max in the octagon any day. Wake me up when Tyson comes back.
Tim Tebow has set the quarterback position back 100 years. 2 for 8 passing in one game. That's the numbers quarterbacks put up in one single possession. He can't play the chiefs and dolphins every week though. Sell your stock while it still has value

This has got to be the longest time between touchdown to celebration that I've ever seen. It's also the quickest way to ensure your girlfriend doesn't get a second go at being a cheerleader. Jerry does NOT play that.

ReplyDeleteThe colts will make history this year by being the first team in the nfl to be 0-16. The ufc fight lasted one round 1:42 seconds to be exact. Lynch's and 1 performance was off the chain. I wonder how many times they replayed it when they watched the film Monday morning. This is going to be Tebow's first test against a pretty good defense. If he can complete a few passes early in the game I think the broncos will pull off the upset if not it will be a long evening for tim. As far as the celebration goes...it is what it is
ReplyDelete@Courtney You do remember the Lions went 0-16 a couple of years ago right? This year the colts are taking it to a whole different level though. They aren't even trying. Tim Tebow completed 2 passes on 8 attempts....now you're thinking he's coming out throwing? Broncos will lose and lose big, even with Sanchez playing the way he does. They'll cover the 6 points easy.
