Am I the only one who hates bye weeks? I know they are needed but when your team is on a roll like butter, I start wishing the bye weeks could be flexed like NBC games after thanksgiving. Nevertheless, the 1st qtr of the season has gone and come and it's time to hand out some grades/rankings according to this idiot
A+ (when you're 4-0 after 4 games you're guaranteed to be on the dean's list)
1a - Minnesota
1b - NYG
3 - New Orleans
4 - Indy
5 - Denver (I still think they aren't for real but the record says it all)
A
6 - Baltimore
7 - N.E. (finding their stride once again)
8 - S.F. (the team nobody's talking about...maybe because they lack stars?)
9 - NYJ (from legend to rookie and they are in same position this time last year)
10 - Cin. (maybe hbo's hard knocks DOES reverse a teams fortune)
11 - Chi
B - Only two teams in this grade..there seems to be quite some disparity THUS FAR in the league
12 - Philly and 13 - ATL
C - 2-2 will get you a passing grade, but it won't save your job!
14 - Pitt, 15 - SD, 16 - Dall,17 - G.B., 18 - Jax, 19 - Hou, 20 - WAS
D - Most of these teams aren't completely horrible but they are underachieving
21 - Det, 22 - Arz, 23 - Sea, 24 - Buf, 25 - Mia, 26 - Oak
F aka no need to put lighter fluid on an already steady grease fire!
27 - Car (best of the worst), 28 - Tenn (switching to VY would not help them at all), 29 - Cle, 30 - Tampa Bay, 31 - K.C., 32 - St. Louis
These are my 2 favorite end zone celebrations thus far.
(only need to watch from the 19 second mark to the 29 second mark)
(only need to watch from 1:25 to 1:35)
Week 5 Picks: Cle, Pitt, Dal, Min, NYG, Phi, Was, Bal, S.F., N.E., Arz, Jax, Indy, NYJ
Last Week: 9-5
Overall: 42-19
